Kindergarten Teacher 0.35 Fte

Concord Kindergarten is a 2.35 FTE teacher kindergarten, operating 8:30 AM–2:30 PM with 20 children, and closes during term breaks.
Position to commence beginning of term 1, 2025.
This part-time position is 14 hours per week (including a maximum of 10.5 contact hours, and a minimum of 3.5 hours professional time). Hours are worked across 5 days and are likely to be 12:30 PM–2:45 PM four days per week, with a longer day 11:30 AM–4:30 PM once per week (guide only).
Dunedin Kindergartens is a party to the Kindergarten Teachers', Head Teachers', and Senior Teachers' Collective Agreement (KTCA). The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the KTCA and will range from $61,329 to $103,086 per annum, pro rata, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. The individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
To be eligible to apply, you must:
Hold a current full practicing certificate with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa
Have a level 7 or higher teaching qualification endorsed in early childhood education or primary (or have had your international qualifications assessed by NZQA to meet this requirement)
Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
Have a current first aid certificate or be able to obtain one prior to beginning the role.
