Kindergarten Head Teacher

Rachel Reynolds kindergarten is a 3fte teacher kindergarten, operating 8:30 – 2:30 with 30 children, and closes during term breaks.
Position to commence beginning of term 1, 2025.
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week (including a maximum of 30 contact hours, and minimum of 10 hours professional time).
Dunedin Kindergartens is a party to the Kindergarten Teachers', Head Teachers', and Senior Teachers' Collective Agreement (KTCA). The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the KTCA. The K2, head teacher salary is $107,664.00 per annum.

To be eligible to apply, you must:
Hold a current full practicing certificate with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa.
Have a level 7 or higher teaching qualification endorsed in early childhood education or primary (or have had your international qualifications assessed by NZQA to meet this requirement).
Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
Have a current first aid certificate or be able to obtain one prior to beginning the role.
