Waipapa Pine, part of Fletcher Building, is a well-established producer of high-quality sawn timber products located in Northland, with sites in Waipapa and Whangarei. We are currently looking for a qualified Kiln Operator to join our team in Waipapa who is able to operate the boiler and kiln safely and consistently to produce kiln dried timber to the required specifications. This role is 4 days on and 4 days off followed by 4 nights on and 4 nights off, 12 hour shifts (6-6)
If you have the following, we would love to hear from you:
Level 3 Enchem Certificate
A minimum of 12 months Kiln operations experience, ideally working within the timber industry
Ability to operate as well as have thorough knowledge of compliance to both kiln SOP's and Boiler SOP's
Maintain excellent time keeping and low absenteeism
Be proactive with the ability to assess and manager risk
Proficient use of IT to a basic level
Be physically fit
Forklift experience is preferable
