Full Time Application Closes 20 Sep 2024 Southland - Invercargill Plant and System Operator Join the Niagara Team as a Kiln and Forklift OperatorNiagara is offering an exciting full-time opportunity at our Kennington site for a dedicated Kiln and Forklift Operator.
This role is perfect for someone looking to balance work and life with accommodating roster of two 12-hour day shifts, two 12-hour night shifts, followed by four days off.Key Responsibilities: Skillfully operate an 8-tonne forklift to load and unload timber in kilns and trucks Oversee the timber drying process according to production schedules Monitor kiln operations, including data entry and reporting Operate, maintain, and ensure the cleanliness of the boiler While prior experience is a plus, we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.
