Join the Niagara Team as a Kiln and Forklift OperatorNiagara is offering an exciting full-time opportunity at our Kennington site for a dedicated Kiln and Forklift Operator.
This role is perfect for someone looking to balance work and life with an accommodating roster of two 12-hour day shifts, two 12-hour night shifts, followed by four days off.Key Responsibilities:Skillfully operate an 8-tonne forklift to load and unload timber in kilns and trucksOversee the timber drying process according to production schedulesMonitor kiln operations, including data entry and reportingOperate, maintain, and ensure the cleanliness of the boilerWhat We're Looking For:Self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to work independentlyA strong sense of responsibility and trustworthinessMechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skillsA solid commitment to safetyBasic computer literacyWhile prior experience is a plus, we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.
