Key Worker - CADS Opioid TreatmentPart-time 0.7 FTE (28 hours per week)Monday to FridayPrimarily based in Pt ChevalierCommunity Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) Auckland is looking for Key Workers to work in our regional Auckland Opioid Treatment Service (AOTS). You will work in a clinic-based setting and the location can be negotiated between our Point Chevalier and Manukau sites. Working with a caseload of clients, key workers provide counselling and medication support in a multi-disciplinary team setting, and group work can be included. You will do business hours, Monday to Friday.The role is rewarding, and AOTS strongly supports professional development with a comprehensive orientation process.Using your empathic approach, with excellent written, communication and time management skills, you will carry a caseload of clients receiving medication treatment prescribed by CADS and/or primary care.You will be supported by a multi-disciplinary team of like-minded health professionals who embrace diversity and share a commitment to working with clients in partnership to achieve their goals.A sense of social justice and enjoying working with people in all their complexity is required. You will have a non-judgmental attitude, excellent engagement and communication skills, and an ability to work autonomously within a team.
