Job DescriptionThe Key Account Manager - Security will work within our Outside Sales team, supporting our Wesco Anixter NZ business (formerly Atlas Gentech).In this role, you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with assigned customers to increase sales and margin of the company's products and/or services.
Your primary focus will be face-to-face selling and account management activities to meet sales revenue.
You will be expected to engage with all levels of the customers' organisations including technical, operations, supply chain and executive management.
You may be required to develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and/or product demonstrations.ResponsibilitiesAchieve or exceed sales and GP budgets for your assigned territory and for the brands and product lines in your portfolio as assigned by Wesco Anixter ManagementManage the existing reseller channelGenerate new business and channel partners within the territoryDevelop relationships with key customersReporting – update and maintain data and quotes in the CRM portalProduct training – internal and externalMaintain customer database for the territoryAttend Company expos and eventsAttend Customer expos and eventsManagement of Personal Loan Account of Company ProductsReport on competitor activity within the territoryAssist with managing existing products, clearing discontinued productsSkills/RequirementsHigh School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree is preferredPrior sales experience required, outside sales preferredTwo years of industry experience preferredAbility to travel to current and potential clients and suppliersAbility to work flexible schedule and occasional overnight travelExcellent sales and negotiation skillsAbility to develop and deliver presentationsStrong interpersonal skillsEffective communicator both written and verballyAbility to work in team environmentStrong Microsoft Office Suite skillsKnowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques (Preferred)Ability to travel 50-75% of the timeSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIndustries: Wholesale #J-18808-Ljbffr
