Your new role As a Key Accounts Manager, you'll support both factory and office teams. The role is dynamic, multi-faceted and involves a mix of general client rep work, sales generation and account management. Your responsibilities include processing customer orders, generating sales leads, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. You'll also be a brand ambassador during Freeman Roofing's relocation to Porirua. Generate sales leads through networking, cold calling, and representing Freeman Roofing at events. Create quotes based on customer enquiries and follow up on quoted jobs. Develop and maintain relationships with key account holders. Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in person. Efficiently process customer orders and address any discrepancies. Actively participate in health and safety practices. What you need to succeed Customer service skills including in person, over the telephone and via email. Computer literacy and competence in using Microsoft Office programmes. Ability to learn new software effectively. Roofing, building or construction knowledge and/or experience. Detail orientated and ability to accurately follow processes. Job management skills - demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands in limited timeframes. Personable - able to interact positively and professionally with customers, delivery drivers and visitors. Account relationship management experience is a bonus.
