The Opportunity: An internal promotion has created an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our Foodstuffs South Island team in Christchurch!
This full-time, permanent role is your chance to drive growth, exceed sales targets, and build strong, collaborative partnerships in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key responsibilities include: Strategic Account Management: Drive growth with Joint Business Plans, promotions, and portfolio opportunities.Operational Excellence: Execute pricing and promotions, streamline sales processes, and enhance demand planning.Financial Accountability: Meet volume and margin targets, manage trade investments, and lead S&OP efforts.Data-driven insights: Leverage tools like Circana, Tableau, and SAP to guide commercial strategies.Customer Relationships: Build strong partnerships, deliver category reviews, and lead NPD initiatives.You will bring: Proven FMCG sales expertise, ideally with major retailers like Foodstuffs or WWNZ.Exceptional people skills, building strong relationships across diverse stakeholders.Energy, drive, and a winning attitude to excel in a competitive environment.Commercial acumen, with P&L expertise and the ability to deliver persuasive proposals.A results-driven mindset, focused on smart, impactful, and solution-oriented decisions.Tech savvy, with experience in tools like Circana, Tableau, and SAP is desirable.You will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together, resulting in a highly collaborative environment.
