Account & Relationship Management (Sales) Full time Work with world leading agency lines, great people and great brands Employee Focused Culture Promains is proudly 100% New Zealand owned & operated with branches in Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch. They stock a comprehensive range of certified AS/NZS & ISO compliant pipes & fittings for supply to the trade. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join this awesome team culture and take ownership of the sales function within the Canterbury region. The ability to develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships, deliver an outstanding level of customer service and meet sales targets will be key factors in this role. Your success will be measured via increased sales revenue and new business relationships. About the role… You will be responsible for developing new business and strengthening relationships with existing contractors, utilities and customers at various levels in the plumbing, water, civil and commercial industries Develop strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements Promote existing and new products in the market through presentations and technical discussions Monitor market trends and competitor activities Prepare and present regular reports on account performance and growth opportunities. About you… In order to be successful in this role you must tick most of these boxes: You genuinely love sniffing out new business opportunities Proven ability in sales within the commercial and civil industry is a bonus Strong communication and negotiation skills High level of professionalism and integrity Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships You have an inquisitive nature Water isn't going anywhere and neither will you if you join the team at Promains.
