They stock a comprehensive range of certified AS/NZS & ISO compliant pipes & fittings for supply to the trade.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join this awesome team culture and take ownership of the sales function within the Canterbury region. The ability to develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships, deliver an outstanding level of customer service and meet sales targets will be key factors in this role. Your success will be measured via increased sales revenue and new business relationships.About the role…You will be responsible for developing new business and strengthening relationships with existing contractors, utilities and customers at various levels in the plumbing, water, civil and commercial industriesDevelop strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growthIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accountsNegotiate contracts and pricing agreementsPromote existing and new products in the market through presentations and technical discussionsMonitor market trends and competitor activitiesPrepare and present regular reports on account performance and growth opportunities.About you…In order to be successful in this role you must tick most of these boxes:You genuinely love sniffing out new business opportunitiesProven ability in sales within the commercial and civil industry is a bonusStrong communication and negotiation skillsHigh level of professionalism and integrityAbility to build and maintain strong client relationshipsYou have an inquisitive natureWater isn't going anywhere and neither will you if you join the team at Promains.
