This pivotal role focuses on nurturing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and aligning with the organisation's goals to become a market leader. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Influence: Drive growth by influencing and developing the brand presence within assigned markets, aligning efforts with strategic objectives. Cross-Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider Commercial team to identify and respond to business opportunities. Account Management: Coordinate and oversee active account management for assigned clients, ensuring high-quality service and operational excellence. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their critical business strategies and aligning solutions with their needs. Revenue Growth: Focus on retaining and maximising revenue from existing clients while pursuing new business opportunities through targeted sales programmes. Market Insight: Analyse market trends and client feedback to optimise business strategies and identify areas for improvement. Negotiation & Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and respond to RFPs to secure profitable long-term agreements. What success looks like in this role: Development and implementation of sales strategies that maximise client value and profitability. Achievement of financial and operational goals, including sales targets and margin improvement. Positive growth in market share and client retention rates. Successful delivery of solutions tailored to client needs. Ideally, this is you: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in account management, sales, or a similar role, ideally in a B2B environment within sales to the financial services industry. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office, particularly Excel, is required, along with excellent negotiation, conflict-resolution, and interpersonal skills. Candidates from industries such as telecommunications or technology will be highly regarded, as familiarity with industry trends and customer needs is crucial for success in this role. Action-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Business savvy, with an understanding of commercial drivers and market trends. Customer-focused, dedicated to delivering high-quality service and building effective relationships. Adaptable and capable of managing ambiguity and change.
