Reporting to the Director this is a varied and exciting sales role.
The role involves managing existing key accounts, new business development and sales reporting and planning.
Based in Auckland it requires extensive overnight travel within NZ.
Sales regions are varied across both the North and South Islands.
You will be travelling around 4 weeks every sales quarter so will suit someone who loves getting out from behind the desk for face to face meetings.
There will be occasional weekend travel required for conferences (two weekends per year with time in lieu provided).
We are seeking a motivated and experienced account manager to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales.
This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and generating insightful sales reports.
DC Rosser is a leading importer and distributor of high-quality commercial textiles, specialising in sheets, bathroom and kitchen towels and bedding items.
With a commitment to customer satisfaction, we serve a diverse range of industries, including laundries, hospitals, aged care, hotels and motels.
Remuneration includes a competitive base salary, full use company car, Koru membership and annual sales bonus.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territoryIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and market researchBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutionsPrepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, performance metrics and pipeline status for presentation to the teamConduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our textilesMonitor market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product developmentAchieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by companyMaintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline opportunities in the CRM systemProvide excellent customer service and support, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely mannerParticipate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote our products Qualifications Proven experience in B2B sales, experience within the textiles or related industry is an advantage but not essentialStrong knowledge of commercial textiles is an advantage but not essentialExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levelsSelf-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have intermediate and above Excel skills (comfortable using formulas, pivot tables, filtering, charts, conditional formatting)Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.Willingness to travel overnight to sales regions within NZ Please note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship.
