About the opportunity:
Are you an experienced Product Manager, Buyer or Account Manager who is looking to take the next step in your career?
Do you enjoy working in a fast paced, agile environment, with constantly shifting priorities?
We are looking for a Key Account Manager at OPPO New Zealand, with experience achieving mobile sales volume and profitability targets for each open channel account, retail partner and carrier.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Develop strategy and promotional programs that deliver strategic plan & commercial performance.
Manage the optimisation of profitability through effective negotiations and planning.
Maintain effective relationships with domestic Channel, Retail and Carrier Partners.
Ensure key stakeholders are regularly updated on key communications relevant to the category, including promotional plans, range changes and stock management.
Collaborate and strategize with our marketing, field sales and product management teams.
To be successful in this role:
You will come from a background as a Category or Product Manager, a Buyer or an Account Manager.
You will have a customer-driven mindset to drive store retail staff / partners to maximise sales and partnership potential through sales best practice, training and regular store visits.
You have demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced, agile environment, with shifting priorities.
You are an awesome team player with a strong sense of personal integrity, responsibility and accountability.
Excellent communicator and strong negotiation skills.
You will have demonstrated experience working in a Carrier, Channel Retailer – preferred in the New Zealand market.
You are experienced working in a cross-functional environment.
Telecommunications industry experience preferred, but not essential.
