National provider of outstanding grounds maintenance services is looking for a Key Account Manager in Telford. Job Title: Key Account Manager Main Duties: Site surveys and ad hoc work surveys Formulating quotations for clients Client and tenant liaison meetings: Ensuring understanding of requirements Ensuring deliverance / making aware of any relevant issues affecting their sites Completion of site reports and observation registers Appointing suppliers / sub-contractors and liaising with them to achieve successful job outcomes: Operational control / management of sub-contractors throughout ad-hoc works Routine meetings with sub-contractors Monitoring and reviewing performance of sub-contractors Liaison with operations departments over in-house jobs: Creation of RAMS for contracted sites and ad hoc works Control of on-site quality deliverance Cost control of contracts and reactive jobs, including control of wage spend, subcontractor and material costs Enhancing and developing account management processes and procedures to ensure the continual growth of the account manager team Monitoring quality deliverance through site inspections Business development - finding and progressing opportunities Creating and undertaking tender presentations Use of JobLogic for quoting, purchase orders and invoicing: Monitoring and amending status of ad-hoc works Liaison with support services to ensure jobs are in progress Monitoring and controlling H&S and compliance documentation Developing and supporting account managers Any other tasks as deemed necessary by management Extent of Responsibilities/Authority: No purchase orders to be signed over £5,000 for Reactive/Contract Material Purchases No purchase authority for Overhead Purchases No Client contracts to be signed over £35,000 No Supplier contracts to be signed over £10,000 - must state 30 day termination Not able to dismiss employees Qualifications: IOSH Managing Safely Broad management experience in relevant industry Various internal training #J-18808-Ljbffr
