The key brands are Daimler Group's global leaders – Mercedes Benz, Fuso, and Freightliner. KAH has retail and logistics agreements with Daimler for truck parts, and also retails several car brands from its Northland branch.KAH is looking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the business. The CEO will be the custodian of the KAH import and distribution businesses, having accountability for the success of all facets of the business. The CEO will continuously demonstrate commitment to the interests of shareholders, team members, customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders to manage, lead and grow the business.The CEO will provide effective leadership and vision for KAH to grow responsibly, in a commercial, profitable, sustainable and systematic manner that is in accordance with the organisation's strategic plan. The CEO will also set the tone for the organisation's culture, fostering ethical and responsible decision making by management, providing inspiring leadership, and driving tactical execution.Ideal candidates will possess the following mix of skills and attributes:10+ years of experience in senior operational management roles in heavy vehicle sales and aftersales, or a closely related sector.5+ years in an executive position in a large New Zealand company, ideally as CEO.Demonstrated ability to work alongside executive shareholders.A skilled manager of key customer relationships.Experience of leading businesses with large-scale P&Ls and balance sheet responsibility.Experience of leading health and safety in an industrial setting.
