About the role We are searching for an experienced and multi-talented Shop Manager for our Kapiti shop in Paraparaumu.
You will enjoy huge variety in this role; not only interacting with the amazing people who donate goods, you will also lead, coach and inspire the volunteers who make up the majority of our retail workforce, making the best use of their many and varied talents.
You will have responsibility for your shop budget, developing action plans to meet targets, providing reports on key aspects of the shop operations and ensuring the most efficient process is in place to get goods from delivery to the shop floor and then out the door!
To be successful you will need to Be open to a challenge, be self-driven, and truly passionate about sustainable retail Want to make a difference to the success of the Mary Potter Hospice retail group Look for ways to improve the customer experience, enhance the brand, grow the business, and develop your team Have excellent leadership and communication skills, be very people-focused and enjoy being part of a close-knit team environment.
