Through access to free workshops and ongoing mentoring/training, artists are able to become a part of the company from age fourteen and stay with us throughout their professional career.Massive is a pathway, a whanau and a way to create excellent theatre.Te Kaiwhakahaere Whakatairanga - Marketing and Development Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of Massive Company's Marketing Strategy and Fundraising and Development activities. This role works as part of a small but mighty tima to ensure that all marketing and fundraising/development activities are carried out appropriate to the Company's brand and Kaupapa, and within agreed budgets and timeframes.Key leadership, marketing and fundraising areas of focus for the role:Oversee and manage all marketing and fundraising activityWork with the GM to set and deliver on appropriate annual marketing and fundraising budgetsWork with the GM to recruit and manage any additional contracted kaimahi for specific projectsCreate regular Marketing and Development reports for board meetingsManage relationships with patrons, sponsors, supporters, and stakeholdersKey Accountabilities for Marketing and Brand:Manage and deliver to Massive Theatre Company's Marketing Strategy and Marketing Strategy Work Plan across all company activity, including brand visibility, targeted public engagement towards company events and activities, fundraising and revenue generation activity, any ticketed events (shows)Work with GM and Artistic Director to ensure that Massive Theatre Company's brand strategy is clear, robust, and integrated into all company activity and communicationsDevelop and maintain guiding documents for Massive Theatre Company brand/tone/kaupapaOversee the development, creation, and delivery of digital content and collateral by MCOversee the company CRM and CRM communications platformKey Accountabilities for Development and Fundraising:Create, deliver and regularly review a strong fundraising message profile based on Massive's strategy, Kaupapa and overall brand and marketing guidelinesImplement and manage Massive's donations programme (via Donorbox)Develop and implement fundraising initiatives and campaigns to meet fundraising targetsCreate pitch documents for potential sponsors/donors as requiredIdentify new opportunities for revenue generation and for the diversification of Massive's revenue streamsExperience and Attributes:Exceptional people skills with the ability to work within a team and independently when necessaryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with CRMs and CRM communication systemsKnowledge and experience working on digital channels (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Canva)Knowledge of Google AnalyticsExperience managing brand strategy and marketing campaigns across a wide range of media, marketing channels and for varied audiencesStakeholder management and relationship-building skillsExperience in analysing data/results and being pro-active/reactive with informationFundraising/donor management experienceMust be a NZ citizen, NZ permanent resident or hold a valid NZ work permitLink to Massive's website and Kaupapa: https://www.massivecompany.co.nz/about-massive-company
