We are looking for experienced Senior Investment Managers with excellent grant and contract management skills and proven ability to work with project partners to support them deliver their important work on the ground. The Environmental Investment programme provides the Ministry a unique opportunity to accelerate action on the ground and to work and learn at place alongside our treaty partners, central and local government, community groups, and other stakeholders, and to share what is learned with a broad audience. We're in the final year of the programme so need experienced hands to support completion and closure of a number of key projects over the next 8 months. You would join a team responsible for managing performance of funded projects including making changes to funding deeds, promoting collaborative and effective relationships and communities of practices and reporting on results and successes of projects. As a Senior you'll also mentor Investment Managers and contribute to Ministerial briefings, correspondence, meeting advice and OIAs.

Experience in funds/grant management process including contracting and ongoing project management to ensure funding is directed towards meeting agreed project objectives, reporting and monitoring and evaluation.
Demonstrated judgement and business acumen when recommending or making decisions relating to the management of funding projects.
Should have at least 3 years relevant experience and an academic qualification in business management, resource management or environmental science or knowledge and/or experience in the environment sector.
Experience mentoring or coaching others.
Whanuitanga Utu a-Tau | Salary range
Salary range for this role is $108,976 to $132,277 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
