This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time (hours per week) position, starting January 2025 and ending January 2026.
As aKaiwhakahaere Ako, you will offer strong leadership and management skills to supportour Kaiako and Contractors to provide high quality educational experiences fortauira and stakeholders.
Collaboration with our Kairuruku (National ProgrammeManager) and other key stakeholders is key to ensure curriculum goals are met.
You willoversee programme management and delivery of programmes delivered in Te TaiTokerau.
Some of the responsibilities include teaching and delivery, monitoringkaiako and contractor performance, supporting the tauira recruitment process,and maintaining accurate academic processes and procedures.
Mou | About youThe ideal candidate is an inspiring leader with strong managementskills, capable of motivating a team of educators to deliver exceptionallearning experiences while effectively collaborating with key stakeholders toachieve curriculum goals.
You will also bring the following: You will havea Bachelor's Degree in Education or similar field (minimum qualification) –Master's Degree (or working towards preferred).
Certificatein Adult Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) or equivalencyFull New Zealand Drivers' LicenseYou will bean exceptional leader with at least 5 years' experience in a tertiary educationenvironment.
5+ years'proven experience delivering quality education and teaching experience.
Proficientin Te Reo and Tikanga Maori.
Asa kaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in culturalactivities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture andtikanga) will be key.Tonoa i tenei ra!
