We are seeking an experienced educational practitionerto oversee the delivery and administration of five home-based learningprogrammes within Te Ihu Takiwa which includes Tamaki Makaurau and Te TaiTokerau. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall programme delivery,including enrolment targets, programme graduation rates, administrationcompliance, monthly cohort management, quality assurance and kaimahiprofessional development.
Reportingto the Head – Home Based Learning, key responsibilities include:
Lead ateam of Kaitiaki (assessors / coaches) and administrators to achievedelivery objectives. Managemonthly enrolments and cohort allocations. Ensurekaitiaki and administrator workloads are fair and equitable. Enhanceprogramme delivery practices and processes. Contributeplans and strategies to achieve enrolment targets. Superviseand monitor home based learning administration practices, policies, andprocesses. Identifyand manage programme delivery trends and risks. Identifyand devise training and development plans for HBL kaimahi. You willbring with you : Aminimum of Diploma in Adult Education (level 5)4+years' experience in a management role preferably within the tertiaryenvironment Exceptionalexperience at establishing and maintaining strong and meaningfulrelationships Afocus on getting the best out of your team and delivering results Provenexperience relevant to planning and co-ordinating service delivery todiverse groups Provenexperience using electronic databases Provenexperience working in process and policy development areas Youmustbe able to travel as your team is geographically dispersed. As akaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in culturalactivities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture andtikanga) is desirable.
