We are seeking a Kaitohutohu Tuara Taonga | Trust Advisor based in Turanganui-a-Kiwa (Gisborne).Full time5 weeks annual leaveKo Te Tumu Paeroa tenei, te kaitiaki, kaitaunaki, kaiwhakawhanake i te mana o nga whenua Maori, huri noa. So that the foundations of ancestral lands may be solid, benefitting Maori from our past, present and future alike. This is Te Tumu Paeroa, guardian, support and advancer of the mana of Maori land everywhere.Our role is to provide professional trustee services for Maori. Kia Mau!Totika Te tika o te tu | ProfessionalismBeing great at our job is how we make the most difference for whenua and whanau.Kotahitanga Te raranga i te tira | UnityWe work as one, we trust each other, and value our differences.Manaakitanga Te akiaki i te mana | RespectWe treat everyone with dignity, fairness and empathy.Mana Te ihi, te wehi, te wana | IntegrityIntegrity is the heart of everything we do.The Trust Advisor is responsible for managing a portfolio of trusts, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the affairs of each trust within the portfolio and ensuring high standards of service delivery, in the administration of these trusts.The main responsibilities of this role will include:Act as the primary Te Tumu Paeroa contact for Trustees and owners within your portfolio, facilitating access for staff and key stakeholders.Provide advice and guidance concerning trusts associated with your portfolio, and supporting your Manager, Team Leader and colleagues through complex emerging and realised issuesEnsure delivery of meeting outputs, including invitations, documentation and follow-up activities are timely, cohesive and of a high-standard.Prepare, review and/or approve Maori Land Court applications, ensuring they are complete and of a high-standard.Collaborating with Property Specialists/Advisors, Rural Specialists, Legal and other key staff, prepare for and attend Maori Land Court hearings (on behalf of the Maori Trustee),Ensure delivery of hearing outputs, including invitations, documentation and follow-up activities is timely, cohesive and of a high-standard.Ensure Maori Land Court directions are understood and effectively managed, monitored and delivered.He korero mou | What we are looking for?At least 3 years of proven experience in a customer service or administration roleA genuine care for customers, with exceptional customer service skillsA strong team player, who can collaborate and assist to help the team function wellSkills in building and fostering strong internal and external relationships.Good written and verbal communication skills.Good time management and organisation skills.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.Experience or an understanding of the rural sector is a plus.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and/or M365 is a plusPae Tahi- Te Whakahua | A desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo Maori (essential).Pae Tahi- No Ia Ra | An understanding and living of Tikanga Maori on a day-to-day level, for example, the removing of shoes before entering a whare, washing hands at the urupa and not sitting on tables (essential)Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.He pehea te tono | How to applyPlease click apply via SEEK by attaching your CV and a covering letter.#J-18808-Ljbffr
