Kaitohutohu - Advisor, Investment and Reporting Support We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kaitohutohu | Advisor with skills in reporting and analysis to join Te Puni Kokiri.

The Advisor, Investment and Reporting Support, is part of the wider Regional Support & Alignment team that are a key link between our offices in the regions and our national office. They bring together evidence and analysis to support smart decision making and drive excellence and consistency across the organisation's reporting requirements.
The mahi of this role includes:
Reporting on and collating information relating to the funds and investments we administer.
Using performance measurement and evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness, including new initiatives.
Movement of information and gathering of intel.
Connecting data from our Strategy Puni to feed into the Regions and gathering insights from our Regions to feed into Policy.
Support programme coordination, stakeholder engagement planning, ministerial servicing and any Board/Group secretariat services.
The appointment range for this role is between $68,406 - $84,793 per annum and the salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
The Advisor will bring a high level of accuracy to the position, be flexible and responsive, are expected to take a broad view of their work and need to pivot between priorities as the needs of the team dictate. The skills we are looking for include:
Strong financial knowledge and numeracy skills, with the ability to understand and interpret what is behind those numbers.
High standard of written and verbal communication.
Experience with fund management and knowledge of investment programmes. This includes experience with small contracts and national assessments.
Good relationship skills, including stakeholder management, and forming strong working relationships.
Being comfortable and confident working in a te ao Maori environment and possess knowledge and understanding of tikanga.
Have a level of competency or willingness to learn te reo Maori.
