Job Description Our testing team ensures that Z's products, processes, and systems work as they should.
Testers work as part of cross functional agile teams across all areas of Z's business.
The role of Senior Test Analyst holds responsibility for providing functional and technical
testing capabilities. You will be responsible for developing test approaches, including
designing scripts, planning resources, completing testing and analysing the results.
This role will be leading pieces of work to represent testing within a squad and is required
to take a analytical approach to problem solving along with demonstrating a bias to
action
You will have the opportunity to:
Provide functional & technical testing capabilities
Provide test knowledge, expertise, and the knowhow to achieve the right outcomes and best test approach.
Design & develop test scripts, carry out the testing, analyse results and report accordingly.
Work with and engage other squads across Z to lean on skillsets and knowledge base
Work with Z's delivery partners to understand test efficiencies and overlaps
Contribute to, and work as part of a cross functional digital team transitioning to new and advanced technology
Contribute to test practice capability improvements and actively participate in community of practices across digital
Report on issues that could affect the quality of the testing or that impact the ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications What you'll bring to Z
Demonstrated years of proven testing experience across different technologies and platforms
Experience with SQL, Python, and Postman (Any equivalent Framework or major programming language is fine)
Exposure in using, implementing, and supporting both commercial and open-source tools
Hands-on functional & technical testing experience across the entire testing lifecycle
Experience in the use of database query tools (eg SQL Server Management Studio). Includes the ability to construct SQL queries and understand database construction.
Experience with technical testing tools testing APIs , serverless apps, event queues, performance and Load testing would be advantageous.
Experience in the development of test automation solutions would be beneficial

The base salary range for this role is $96,600 to $114,000 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
