As our Kaitaki Hononga Pakihi – Arumoni Account Manager – Commercial you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with customers to strengthen and grow our South Island presence. You'll get to be the face of Z B2B across many different customer types and industries, providing you with plenty of variety! This role is based in Otautahi Christchurch and involves travel around Te Wai Pounamu, the South Island. We are looking for a January 2025 start. You will have the opportunity to Achieve volume, revenue, credit/risk and growth targets for your customer portfolio Develop and lead customer quarterly acquisition, retention, and growth strategies Participate in quarterly sales planning to achieve portfolio strategies Develop an engagement plan for your customer portfolio to drive customer engagement and loyalty Lead RFP tenders, contract negotiation and account reviews Build trusting relationships with customers to ensure we are there to support their journey to low carbon fuel options Qualifications What you'll bring to Z Significant experience in an Account or Sales Manager role with demonstrated experience of both building new business and maintaining existing relationships The drive to seek out new opportunities and the experience and knowledge to convert these into loyal customers A strong focus on customer with the ability to design and deliver an exceptional customer experience Expertise in contract review, identifying discrepancies, business risk or issues A customer focus and the ability to design and deliver an exceptional Z experience Boundless energy, determination and enthusiasm for driving success and growing the business! Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and relate to a diverse range of customers Flexibility to commit to a role with regular travel and a clean driver's license And of course, you'll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.
