About this role Kairuruku Home-Based Learning are accountable for the national management of the assigned programme(s) through various forms of distance education, providing ongoing, needs-based support to Kaitiaki, Kaiaromatawai and all relevant stakeholders.

Days: Monday - Friday
As a Kairuruku - Home Based Learning, you will: Contribute to marketing strategy and ensure accuracy of all relevant material within required timeframesImplement agreed strategies to address potential issues or performance problemsPlan and deliver curriculum and assessment training on a regular and as-needs basisProvide programme training sessions for stakeholders as requiredMaintain monitoring and audit standards in accordance with requirements.About you: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant disciplineA professional teaching registration (if required)At least 5 years' experience in the NZ education sector and at least 5 years' teaching experiencePrepared to increase knowledge, understanding and everyday use of te reo and ahuatanga Maori and support other kaimahi in the same endeavourFull clean New Zealand Drivers LicenceAs a kaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
