Further to ensuring that tangata whaiora and their whanau receive the highest standards of professional assistance in actively managing Mental Health related conditions.Purapura Whetu emphasises that integration of care involves developing a coherent and comprehensive understanding of the needs of tangata whaiora, and their whanau and is aimed at enhancing overall well-being rather than treating the treatment of specific disorders or problems.Protecting the Tino Rangatiratanga of whanau and their right to quality care.To promote the right of Maori through a Te Ao Maori perspective, inclusive of Tapu, Mana, Mauri, Whanaungatanga, Wairuatanga, Hinengaro, Tinana, Ukaipo and Matauranga Maori, to achieve lifelong growth and quality of life.Delivering clinical leadership and excellence, as the Kaihautu/ Practice Leader, you will be a self-starter, passionate about improving the lives and well-being of our whaiora, their whanau, and committed to implementing our Whaia te iti Kahurangi model.The Kaihautu/ Practice Leader will:Provide clinical oversight and practice leadership in the delivery and development of Best Practice through incorporation of Tu Manawa Ora Addiction treatment approaches.Lead the continuous development of culturally driven, clinically focused services that recognise and meet the specific needs of Whaiora and their whanau in the achievement of Hauora and recovery.Work in partnership as a collective leadership team with the Service manager to collectively lead, implement and plan the service in line with the direction of the governance group.Inspire clinical excellence within the wider team through your level of expertise.Possess significant knowledge and experience in Matauranga Maori models of practice to support recovery and hauora.Have a clear understanding of best practice in addiction service delivery and be proactive in working alongside your team to drive quality outcomes.Thrive in environments where you work closely with people, evidencing a leadership style that builds respect, spirit, and fosters empowerment and pride.Be self-aware and empathetic with the ability to motivate and empower individuals.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive and innovative organisation.
