Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Kaiawhina Matua - Executive Assistant to join the Office of the Amo Orauariki - Dean in Orauariki - Wellington School of Business and Government on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is located at Pipitea Campus and provides executive level, comprehensive support to the Amo Orauariki - Dean to ensure that they are supported in their day-to-day activities, as well as a crucial contribution to the running of the Office of the Amo Orauariki - Dean.
Key responsibilities: High quality executive level supportSecretarial duties for BoardsLogistical, financial, and administrative support for the Office of the Amo Orauariki - DeanYou will do the following: Influence and build relationshipsUse your strong attention to detail and self-management skillsEnjoy working both independently and as part of a friendly and collaborative teamWork through a diverse range of tasks requiring a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, tact, accuracy, and independent judgementThis role is busy, challenging, and extremely rewarding, contributing immensely towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the Amo Orauariki - Deans Office.
Key requirements: Previous experience as an EA or PA within a large and/or complex organisationStrong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyAbility to deal with ambiguity and make decisions about prioritiesHighly developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex matters in a concise and easily understandable mannerAn advanced level of computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePointEtahi korero hai awhina i a koe - Why you should join our team We are passionate about our mission and highly value sharing ideas, building on strengths, and working in a collaborative style.
