Kia Mau!Being great at our job is how we make the most difference for whenua and whanau.We work as one, we trust each other, and value our differences.We treat everyone with dignity, fairness and empathy.Integrity is the heart of everything we do.He angitutanga: About the Role:The Kaiarahi Whakamaru Hangarau Whakaaturanga | IT Security Manager is responsible for identifying, managing, remediating, and responding to information security risks and incidents across the organisation.The key responsibilities for this role include:Supporting the development and delivery of the Te Tumu Paeroa's annual Information Security Strategy and Work ProgrammeEnhance, implement and maintain security governance processes and practices across Te Tumu Paeroa in line with our policies and Maori Data Sovereignty frameworkManage all residual security risks, incidents and threats ensuring they are responded to and investigated appropriatelyProvide specialist cyber security and technical advice to key stakeholdersMonitor the use of cloud and AI technologies for risky usage or data loss events and investigate incidentsLead the delivery of incident response as the Incident ManagerSupport CIO and IT team to deliver the IT Strategy and Work Programme, Business Plan priorities and Strategic PlanTertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experienceAn understanding of Information Security concepts and practices, risk management principles and frameworks, the New Zealand Protective Security Requirements and a strong baseline of ICT understandingKnowledge of security for cloud and hybrid environments, including Microsoft/Azure, secure networking and modern identity methodologiesExperience in defining, tailoring and establishing Cyber-Security processes, such as Certification and Accreditation, Security Risk Assessments and Security Incident Response processes.Experience with on-premise and cloud Microsoft products, ArcGIS, Fortigate, ManageEngine and PBX/VoIP phone systems is a plus.Pae Tahi- Te Whakahua  | A desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo Maori (essential).Pae Tahi- No Ia Ra  | An understanding and living of Tikanga Maori on a day-to-day level, for example, the removing of shoes before entering a whare, washing hands at the urupa and not sitting on tables (essential)Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.Collaborative, supportive working environment5 weeks annual leaveWellington Central office locationWe are a tight-knit bunch, passionate about supporting Maori landowners to protect and enhance their land.
