Our national office provides a wide range of advocacy, advisory, training, fundraising and support services to member refuges, Government, agencies and our many business partners.Our vision is for all women and children in New Zealand/Aotearoa to live free from family violence.About the RoleWe are looking for someone to fill a Kaiarahi role based at our national office in Wellington. Primarily, the role supports our national office operations to provide services to affiliated member refuges.The Kaiarahi - Quality service support fulfils a key monitoring and audit function to identify evidence of good practice and quality service in line with NCIWR standards of practice, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. In carrying out this function, refuge members are enabled to be lead providers of family violence intervention and prevention services.This position is part of a small, dedicated team that prides themselves on camaraderie and efficiency, underpinned by a proud team culture supporting outcomes for both Maori and Tauiwi.Key Requirements for this role:Ability to travel frequently with overnight stays away from home is essential and fundamental to carrying out audit and monitoring functions at our refuges spread throughout the country.A non-judgmental and impartial approach while performing an audit function is a strong requirement for this position.A current and full driver's license is essential.Key performance areas:Information gathering, evaluation, interpretation.Planning and project management skills.This is a full-time position based at the National Office in Wellington. Management experience within community development or relationship management, implementing policies and practices, and/or a community audit function is necessary to support success in this role.
