Victoria Early Learning Centre is a community-based childcare licensed for 52 tamariki.
Our teachers provide a warm and welcoming environment for children, adults and whanau.
We are seeking a Kaiako who is as passionate as we are about providing children with a stimulating environment that encourages play and creativity, where children are encouraged to learn and develop with and alongside others at their own pace.
The permanent position is for 30 - 35 hours a week (negotiable) for the right person to work with either our under two or over two tamariki. Suitable to qualified or in training kaiako.
We are also looking for relievers.
What we are looking for: Kaiako that have experience in programme planning for children's strengths and interests and is passionate about being involved in child-led learning and play.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, and has a collaborative approach to working in a team.
Confident in building professional relationships with tamariki, families, colleagues and the community.
Committed to promoting a bicultural curriculum that aligns with Te Whaariki.
Is a supportive and enthusiastic team player who is flexible.
