Some flexibility may berequired for occasional weekend and evening work.Mou (About you)We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge in te ao Maori, ngaahuatanga Maori, tikanga Maori, nga hitori Maori, nga pakiwaitara, whakapapa,nga iwi Maori, dialect differences.
You will also bring with you:A Diplomain Te Reo Maori Level 5 or a related subjectNew ZealandCertificate n Adult Tertiary Teaching Level 5 (NZCATT L5) or equivalent, or bewilling to complete this during the first year of employmentFull andcurrent New Zealand Driver's LicenseProvenexperience in a similar role3+ years'experience teaching in full immersion te reo MaoriAdultteaching experience.
Fluency inte reo and nga ahuatanga Maori and ability to lead in these areasAs a kaupapa Maori organisation, your willingnessto participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of AhuatangaMaori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.Tonoa itenei ra!
