Teaching - Early Childhood (Education & Training) Your role will be to use your positive energy to build relationships with the tamariki, their whanau, and the team to be able to facilitate and promote positive learning underpinned by Kaupapa Maori theory. ABOUT YOU As well as being passionate about early childhood education you will have: A qualification in Teaching for Early Childhood Education or Primary - Level 7 A current Practicing Registration issued by Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand Experience working with tamariki A sound understanding of Maori culture, values, tikanga and te reo Maori The Kaiako role is classed as a Core Worker and will need to pass a safety check under the Children's Act 2014.
