In Te Puna Akona we thrive on inspiring and nurturing young minds to learn and grow in both Te ao Maori and Te ao pakeha.Key responsibilities:Commitment to te reo me ona tikangaDevelop and implement creative lesson plans tailored to diverse learning stylesFoster a positive and inclusive classroom environmentAssess and track student progress and adapt instruction as neededCollaborate with colleagues and participate in school activitiesDevelop strong and educationally powerful relationships with tamariki, whanau, hapu/iwi and the school communityBelieve that our tamariki deserve the best education and is committed to our school whakatauki, "Ko te tamaiti te putake o te kaupapa".We are currently teaching 50:50 reo Maori and English within our Marautanga and we are committed to teaching fluent and emergent speakers, or students who wish to embrace Maori bilingual education.
