We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including to young adult and adult learners.

Mo tenei turanga mahi | About this position: We are looking for a creative and innovative Kaiako (teacher) to join our team either in Nelson, Wellington, Palmserton North or New Plymouth. In this role you will be working with akonga (students) with additional/specific learning needs.
It's an exciting time at Te Kura as we continue to innovate and transform the way we provide distance learning. In our online environment, we work with the latest technologies and are constantly growing in this space.
We're forward thinking and do things a little differently, but that doesn't mean no student contact! You'll interact with students at advisories, communicate with them using online tools and guide a group of students as their Learning Advisor. We are committed to seeing you grow with us and development opportunities often crop up within the school.
Ko koe tenei | About you: Interested in authentic learning, you model current pedagogy and are always coming up with new ideas. You are enthusiastic, collaborative, understand the key competencies of the New Zealand curriculum assessment practice and are committed to improving education outcomes for students.
This position would suit teachers with learning support experience in the primary and secondary sectors.
