This is a fixed-term, full-time ( hours per week) position startingin January 2025 and ending in December 2025. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, delivering engagingcontent to tauira, addressing tauira learning needs, and assessing theirprogress. Flexibility may be required for some weekend and evening sessions.Mou (About you)To succeed in this role, you will have sound knowledge and teachingexperience within Toi Maori Rauangi field to deliver our Kawai Raupapaprogramme. You will need to have the ability to facilitate application ofprinciple and theory into contextualised practice, apply tikanga Maoriappropriate to toi Maori - Rauangi, and be a critical, conceptual andself-reflective practitioner.You will bring with you: Te MaungaKura Toi (Bachelor of Maori Art – Level 7) with a focus on appropriate Kaupapa Toi (Whakairo, Nga Mahi a te Whare Pora, Toi Ataata,Mau Rakau, Performing Arts), or equivalent, that demonstrates holding orshowing equivalence for NZQA standards assessed in this programme NewZealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) or equivalent Eitherattest equivalence for NZQA standards required to assess and moderate thisprogramme OR hold the NZ Certificate in Assessment Practice (L4) Fulland current NZ Driver License 2+years' experience teaching adult learners.
