Little Citizens provides social support, 3 meals a day, and low fees in South Dunedin.

Conveniently located on Oxford Street, we offer programmes for tamariki from 0-5 years of age and are licensed for 75 children.
Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 7.45am – 5.30pm.
About the Role We are looking to appoint a Kaiako Kohukahuka ECE Teacher to work with our dedicated Kaiako and support staff.
You will be a member of the over 2s teaching team at Little Citizens supported by a Leadership team.
Working mainly in our Kotuku (3.5 - 5 year) Room, Kaiako Kohukahuka will primarily be responsible for: Participating in the design and implementation of Individual, Group, and Centre Learning Plans.
Utilising the ENGAGE Programme in the teaching and learning space.
Attending fortnightly paid staff meetings contributing to internal evaluations and participating in training.
Ensuring our tamariki are learning in a safe space that allows them to grow at their own pace with a strengths-based focus.
Supporting other Kaiako with teaching plans and activities.
Encouraging whanau to be informed and involved with the activities and experiences at the centre.

To be successful in this role you will have the following: Provisional or Full Category 1 Teacher Registration.
