We have a position beginning 17th January 2025.
Our Invercargill community-based not-for-profit early learning centre is seeking highly motivated Early Childhood certificated kaiako to join our Infant and toddler teaching team. Kaiako will need to have:
BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
The ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with our children and their whanau and within your team
Ability to incorporate Te Whariki 2017 into our centre programme
A strong commitment to the use of Te Reo and tikanga Maori
Confidence in computer literacy and the documentation of both children's learning, and your own professional growth cycle
A current first aid certificate
A sense of playfulness – to enjoy smiling and laughing with and alongside our children and your colleagues
A genuine commitment to our Surrey Park Community Spirit
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
The flexibility to work a variety of shifts over a 35 hour minimum working week
