Come and join our team at the Te Ara Waiora Clinic in Flaxmere. It is an exciting new health initiative that is whanau-centred and offers free accessible health services for all whanau. Based in the heart of the Flaxmere community, the service is supported by a mix of Registered Nurses, Health Coaches and an Administrator, who work closely with other health and social services at Te Taiwhenua O Heretaunga as well as external Health and Social Service Providers to meet the needs of Whanau.The role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. We are a Nurse Led clinic that is focused on reducing barriers to access healthcare when whanau need it most. The Clinics are designed to meet the needs and requirements that focus on whanau gaining positive outcomes. This is delivered through both fixed and mobile Nurse clinics, so we are also able to take our clinics to whanau in their homes and community events.If you are a Registered Nurse who has a genuine desire to work in a Nurse Led Clinic and is proactive and passionate about delivering healthcare, education and early health intervention and prevention of long-term health issues to the community, then we want to hear from you.This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.The key model of care is a whanau-centred, integrated care, inter-professional practice and innovation.Skills & ExperienceSuccessful applicants must:Have a current practicing certificateOffer demonstrable experience in working with individuals and groups of whanau in an outcome-focused wayBe professional in all aspects of their mahi, from presentation to practiceBe able to maintain the highest standards of confidentialityHold a current New Zealand Full Driver's LicenseUnderstand Te Reo and tikanga Maori (and/or be willing to learn)Be open to being flexible and agile adapting to whanau and their health needsIf you are excited about being part of an exciting new innovation in health service delivery that is kaupapa Maori driven – then apply today.Please attach:A covering letterUp to date CVFully completed TToH Application FormYour qualification/s and registration detailsApplications close: Monday 18th November 2024
