K1 teacher - Northland Kindergarten AssociationAfter the appointments of a new head teacher and full-time teacher, Northland Kindergarten Association are now seeking another passionate teacher to join the teaching team at Te Timatatanga o Te Matauranga Kindergarten, Otangarei, Whangarei. This 20 hour per week position will have varying daily hours.This is an opportunity to work amongst a close-knit team dedicated to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and upholding nga tamariki maori learning success. The collective pedagogical approach is grounded in manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, respect and care.If you are a qualified and registered ECE teacher or in your third year of study for an ECE qualification, are skilled in establishing and maintaining authentic and professional relationships with tamariki, whanau and colleagues, are self-motivated, show initiative and able to work collaboratively, and wish to work amongst a team of dedicated kaiako and staff, we would love to hear from you.Te Timatatanga o Te Matauranga has 3.5 teachers, a part-time administrator, and a cook. This kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 30 children between two and six years of age.Te Timatatanga o Te Matauranga Kindergarten is part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA.
