Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking a dedicated and visionary teacher to join Kerikeri Kindergarten from January 8, 2025. Kerikeri Kindergarten operates as an all-year model. Staff benefit from 30 days annual leave and 15 professional time days per year along with 10 non-contact hours per week. Kerikeri Kindergarten will have a team of 5 teachers and a part-time administrator. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday, catering for a roll of 40 children between 2 and 6 years of age. Kerikeri Kindergarten teams practice is grounded in the knowledge that children are capable, competent, and powerful, and arrive at kindergarten with inherent mana and mauri. Kerikeri Kindergarten are Enviroschools leaders in the Early Years network and run a weekly Ngahere Programme.
