Junior (Y1–3) Team Leader

Position: Primary and Intermediate (Years 1–8) / Kura Tuatahi, Certificated Teacher
Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts
We have an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to step up into school leadership, or for someone with experience who would like a new challenge, leading our junior (Y1–3) team of 4-5 teachers.
Our junior team is a group of energetic, committed, and passionate teachers, who are looking for a new leader to continue their professional growth as individual teachers and as a collective team.
As well as leading the Tupu team, ideally, you will also have the capability to be the leader of our Structured Literacy Strategic Team, and the continued schoolwide development in this area.
The appointed candidate will be an experienced and successful junior teacher, a strong communicator, and an effective collaborator. They will also need to be willing to be an active member of our wider school community and have a good sense of humour.
