About the role
As the National Service Junior Technical Coordinator, you will be part of our National Service team providing technical and warranty support. Your role will be crucial in maintaining open communication between Honda New Zealand Limited, Honda outlets, and key industry partners. You'll ensure that our high standards of service and repair are upheld by delivering premium technical support.
Key responsibilities:
Provide technical support to our Honda outlets, helping diagnose issues and ensure timely, high-quality vehicle repairs.
Serve as a primary point of contact for technical and warranty inquiries, offering prompt and accurate assistance.
Relay technical challenges from Honda outlet technicians to our training team, facilitating necessary training sessions.
Prepare and distribute technical information through various channels to keep all Honda outlets well-informed and equipped.
Assist with monthly reports on warranty concerns and priorities, contributing to continuous improvement.
Support Honda outlets with warranty goodwill cases and handle customer complaints related to technical matters.
Ensure the availability of special Honda tools for efficient vehicle repairs.
Keep Honda outlets updated on Honda's service technical standards, working to enhance performance where needed.
The ideal candidate would have:
Strong technical background and understanding of automotive repair and maintenance.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with a strong attention to detail.
Experience in preparing and distributing technical documentation.
A proactive approach to learning and training, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft office tools.
A customer-focused mindset, dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and repair.
