About the role: Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Junior Sales Representative to work out of our Auckland head office.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager Trucks and working across both Trucks and Construction Equipment , this role is the perfect opportunity to step up into a sales role in the exciting Construction Equipment and Heavy Truck industries.
With uncapped earning potential and an opportunity to develop professionally into an ever expanding business, we require someone who is not afraid of a challenge, is hungry and can drive sales and is willing to learn.
While experience in the industry is advantageous, we are more interested in attitude & enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Day to Day tasks: Answer all inbound calls in relation to Sales from our 1800 number Action appropriately into CRM system Prepare quotes for customers on standard machine builds and/or forward through to relevant territory sales manager(s) Greeting customers, either face to face or via phone/email Undertake follow ups and directly close sales for allocated inbound leads for Trucks and walk in Construction Equipment Maintain pricing authority / matrix and sales records (handover documents etc) Assist with Product Deliveries (PDI) and liaise with after sales department on work in progress builds Provide support to the sales team where required Coordination & Office Administration: Assist director with sales administrative duties, follow up items and other ad-hoc items as required You will be provided all the tools of trade and training needed as well as a line of communication right to the decision makers of the business to hit the targets set for you.
