Job Description: Junior Civil Quantity SurveyorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented junior Civil Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of civil construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of civil construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.Measurement and Valuation: Conduct accurate measurements and valuations of work completed on-site. Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications.Cost Control and Reporting: Monitor project costs and expenditures, identifying and addressing any variances. Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial and contractual risks.Procurement: Manage the procurement process, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
