Join our team in this brand new role as a Junior Project Manager, based in the lively and scenic Wynyard Quarter of Auckland. This position combines in-person collaboration with the flexibility to work remotely.Te turanga / About the roleIn this role, you will apply project administration and management practices and principles for a variety of projects, ensuring they are executed flawlessly and align with our client's visions. You'll collaborate seamlessly with Tektus staff and engage directly with clients, fostering relationships through genuine and constructive conversations. This position requires you to be versatile and adaptable, managing both large-scale projects and multiple smaller initiatives efficiently.Coordinate and manage project tasks, ensuring efficient execution and strict adherence to timelines.Prepare and establish project documentation including project proposals, Scopes of Works, variation orders, project status reports, and lines of project communication and collaboration.Cultivate strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders through clear and open communication.Actively contribute to our engagement with Te Ao Maori, participating in practices that respect and uphold Maori cultural values.Determine when to escalate project risks and when to resolve challenges internally, demonstrating strong judgement and critical thinking.You may be transitioning from a Junior Project Manager role or stepping up from a Senior Project Coordinator position.
