This unique opportunity is for a junior or trainee occupational hygienist to join the team and gain experience across a broad range of industries.
The position will be based in our Christchurch office, reporting to the company's hygiene team leader.
The successful candidate will possess a passion for driving workplace change to decrease health risk, and be willing to travel nationwide to meet our clients' needs.
We are looking for someone who has a strong background in a practical or applied science.
Having started your occupational hygiene career will be an advantage.
The successful applicant will receive a mix of on-the-job and formal training with the goal of being able to undertake qualitative and quantitative health risk assessments, exposure monitoring, noise surveys, IAQ assessments, lighting surveys, confined space assessments, thermal assessment, ventilation assessments, and respirator fit testing.
Remuneration (salary) will be based on the candidate's skill set and experience, and will include a cellphone, laptop, and professional membership fees.
