Pay It Now NZ – Christchurch Office Part Time/Full Time Hourly Rate + Flexible Working Hours + Training/Development Start Date: ASAP About the role: As one of New Zealand's fastest growing fintech companies, our innovative blockchain network is expanding and we are in need of a Junior Mobile App Developer to assist our small team based in Christchurch. The position will involve the development of our React Native iOS and Android mobile app and PWA, and other websites. The role may evolve as we undergo further growth and expansion in our operations. As we are a financial services provider, a criminal history check and credit check must be undertaken for the successful applicant. If you don't already have mobile app development experience, you must have huge amounts of enthusiasm for developing mobile applications and the ability to learn quickly. Key Attributes: Development Skills: Previous mobile development experience would be ideal, however demonstrable mobile and web projects will suffice. Previous experience in finance or the fintech industry would be great, but not essential. React Native experience would be ideal, otherwise experience with other JavaScript frameworks is required. Strong coding skills are required in the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS. Desirable skills include: React, React Native, Tailwind, PHP, Laravel. You will need to be adaptable to the ever-changing tech landscape. Team Skills: Demonstrate your experience working with others to build a final product. Demonstrate your understanding of project management methodologies to organize the work. A good team player will share their knowledge with others. Contribute to the wider team: Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions, actively contributing your ideas to shape the future direction of the company.
