Junior Mechanic

Due to ongoing growth at Auto Parts Express, we are looking for a Junior Automotive Mechanic to join our Takanini branch.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in removing parts from a variety of car makes and models under the guidance of senior mechanics.

Perform quality checks on parts before they are handed over to the sales or inventory team.

Support senior mechanics in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Assist with the installation and replacement of vehicle parts such as belts, hoses, filters, and batteries.

Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Requirements:

Basic mechanical knowledge, with a strong interest in learning and developing skills in automotive repairs.

A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a mechanic role, apprenticeship, or similar experience is preferred.

Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.

Strong attention to detail when handling and checking parts.

A positive and can-do attitude.

Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
