The role We are on the lookout for a vibrant and enthusiastic Junior Library Assistant to join the team at the Timaru Library and play an essential role in the delivery of their awesome library services!
In this busy role you will ensure all library resources are correctly shelved and presented to a high standard. You will also be committed to providing amazing customer service and respond to all customer queries in a friendly manner.
If you have a can-do attitude, passion for books, a good standard of literacy and numeracy, and an eye for detail, then this is the opportunity for you. This is a perfect role for school students looking to gain valuable experience in a library setting!
This is a permanent part-time position available offering 10 hours per week (4:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday) and extra hours during the school holidays. The hourly rate for this role is $27.80.
